Born circa 1650 in Soissons,
Île-de-France.
King’s daughter
arrived on July 13th 1671
on board of the Prince Maurice.

André Marsil also known as “Lespagnol” weds Marie Lefebvre on November 16th 1671 in Trois-Rivières.
Six of their children were baptised: Madeleine, Étienne, Charles, Marie, André II and Catherine who lived for only two years.
In North America, the Marcil, Mercille… all come from the three sons of the couple represented in this coat of arms.
